Since 1985, Gene Ellsworth has been fine-tuning his
songwriting craft in Pittsburgh, PA, Nashville, TN, and
Central California. Gene was part of the Bluebird Café talent
community in Nashville, which is one of the most renowned
sites for singer songwriters to showcase and test their craft.

Commuting from Nashville to Pittsburgh, Gene was
contracted to compose by the famous publishing house,
Major Bob Music. Collaborating with friends and peers, a few
hundred songs were published and many cut by performing
artists, resulting in two Grammy nominated CDs and three
number one hits, including The Fool, performed by Lee Ann
Wolmack, and All Aboard, performed by Del McCoury Band.

Committing to a more balanced, peaceful lifestyle, Gene now
teaches yoga, and entertains residents at assistant living
communities while he continues to compose songs about life,
love and his new pursuits.
