Our Declaration of Beer Dependance

When, in the course of beer consumption, it becomes necessary for people to digest good food, bond with one another, and to assume that their powers are more than equal to those around them, with the beer purity laws guiding them, may they hold a decent respect to the opinions of those around them, for if they don’t they will raise up their glasses and glaze over, vowing to ignore that idiot down the way, and drink on, enjoying their beverage, anyway.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that most all beers are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain amounts of indescribable goodness, and just the right amount of unalienable alcohol, that always among these are water, hops, malt and barley. That to secure these delectable delights, a great gathering place has been instituted among men and women, deriving their enjoyment from the free flowing taps and great conversation at Bocktown Beer and Grill.

We, therefore, the representatives of Bocktown Beer and Grill, in General Congress, assembled or unassembled in some fashion, appealing to the powers that be, do, in the name, and by the authority of the good people of this great gathering spot, solemnly publish and declare, that these united beer drinkers are, and by right ought to be free and slightly intoxicated; that they are absolved from all incessant ramblings, forgotten thoughts and not so great inventions, and that all connection between them and the state of reality, is and ought to be totally dissolved!

So by our silly declaration of beer dependence, we have established that, if you are thirsty… DRINK!  Hungry…eat!
