Bocktown partner Fellowship Foods sources veggies, fruits, meats, chicken, eggs, bread, coffee, and more from over 20 Pittsburgh area farmers. Owner Chip Kohser not only supplies the restaurant but also runs a popular CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program with pick up at Bocktown Robinson every Friday.
This CSA program is unique because customers
- order subscriptions and individual items online
- can start/stop subscriptions anytime
- can get local food year-round
Furthermore, all suppliers adhere to Fellowship’s standards of sustainability. Meats are pastured and free of hormones, antibiotics, and nitrates, and organic produce is raised carefully without using most conventional pesticides.
CSA Subscribers also get a special Bocktown perk each week. Look for complimentary menu items, discounts on Bocktown swag, and even the occasional beer on the house.
